None but God
A prayer was spoken on January 3, 2021 on the floor of the U.S. House chamber in the presence of all members of Congress to formally open the 117th U.S. Congress. The prayer in itself seemed to be a good and sincere prayer,
but then it was ended in an unusual manner. Most people were focused on the “Amen and a woman,”
at the very end (which is problematic enough) but it was the sentence before that that was so troublesome.
He petitioned God for things, but then asked these things in the name of…and then listed God with other gods.
We will look at Scripture that shows us, and warns us that this is blasphemous.
